My heart goes out to you Jr. and Becky, I’m so sorry for your loss and the pain you are feeling. There is no comparison to the pain of child loss. No matter the age. I myself know that pain and my heart breaks for you both and her children and fiencé. May God speed the recovery of the peace your heart is going to need to console each other. Many prayers and love.

Jr, Becky, And family, I am so sorry for your loss and it breaks my heart to hear of such a tragedy so young and unexpected. My heart is heavy and I send strength to you as you face the coming days. I may not have known Cheryl as an adult but I remember her as a child and all the fun I had babysitting your whole crew. Your family has been standing beside mine for as long as I can remember and know now that we love you- sincerely Faith, Nate and family

Cheryl and Lee were in my second grade classroom at Waveland, and in the 29 years that I taught, she was one of my favorite students ever. She was so sweet and energetic, and really tried to keep Lee on his best behavior. At the end of the year I took some of the students who had reached their reading goal for Reading Counts to Pizza Hut. I drove them in my car, and took them home afterward. I don’t think I will ever forget Cheryl sitting there in Pizza Hut, wondering when the waitress would take our “beverage order”. I was then, and continue to be, so impressed with a second grader who uses the word “beverage” correctly.
My sincere condolences to her family; I’ll bet she was a loving mother, since I know how much she adored her brother and parents. Gone far too soon, but remembered with love.
