I have many memories of my friend Bob Nelson. I knew Bob from his working at the high school and the elevator in Bainbridge. His son Danny aka : Freddie Beaver, was one of my best friends I had in high school. My favorite memory of Bob was the joke he pulled on me with Danny’s help, saying he had just made a big pot of homemade stew. I tried some and commented that this is really good stew. Bob told me how he peeled all the potatoes & carrots how long it took him to simmer all the ingredients to make it taste just right. I swallowed the story and the stew hook line and sinker. A little later after hearing me carry on on how unbelievable this stew is, Bob and Danny burst into laughter and told me it was Dinty Moore stew from a can. LOL never forgot that one.

My thoughts and Prayers are with Linda (who was GREAT at taking care of all of us during our Athletic day at North Putnam) and her wonderful family. God Bless.
