Anna “Beth” Glover Fordice, 76 of Russellville, passed away at her residence on December 28, 2018. Beth is in heaven after a short battle with Leukemia. She was born on February 20, 1942 in Danville, IL to Albert and Helen “Louise” (Dimmich) Glover.
She graduated from Covington High School in 1960 and then became an LPN. She then married J. Carroll Fordice in 1965. Together they worked raising livestock and farming.
Beth was a member of the Russellville Community Church where she spent time volunteering. She worked in prison ministry for many years. She loved singing with her family and church choir. God, family, nature, church family and farming were her priorities. Beth loved mushroom hunting, watching football, gator rides and Arni’s Pizza. She lived for and loved being outside.
She is survived by her husband, J. Carroll Fordice; daughters, Sue (Mike) Lawson of Russellville and Mary Ferretti of North Salem; mother, Helen “Louise” Glover; brothers, Bill Glover and Bob Glover; and sister, Brenda Glover.
She is preceded in death by her father, Albert Glover and sisters, Becky Glover and Betty Rouse.
Funeral service will be 10:00A.M. Thursday, January 3, 2019 at Russellville Community Church, 103 Third Street, Russellville, IN 46175. Reverend Alan Small will be officiating. Burial will follow at Portland Mills Cemetery. Friends may call from 4:00 to 8:00 P.M. Wednesday, January 2, 2019 at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to the Trustees and Outreach Funds at the Russellville Community Church. Machledt and Servies Funeral Home has been entrusted with the funeral arrangements.
