Wilton E. Alexander


Wilton E. Alexander, 90 formerly of Waveland, passed away, Friday, July 6, 2018 at Whitlock Place in Crawfordsville. He was born on July 11, 1927 in Holland, Missouri to the late Granvil and Ione (Chapman) Alexander. On January 1, 1947, Wilton married Bonnie (Norton) Alexander in Marion, Ohio. Bonnie preceded him in death October 4, 2015.

Wilton graduated from High School in Prospect, Ohio and then served our country in the United States Navy. After returning home he began working at Erie Railroad, in Marion, Ohio. He was saved in 1954 and was then called to be a minister in 1957. He graduated from Clear Creek Bible School in Kentucky and Cedarville College, in Ohio. He was a minister for thirty-one years until retiring to Florida. He was an avid Ohio State Buckeye  Football Fan.

He is survived by his children; Paul (Susan) Alexander, North Carolina, Christine (Paul) Busenbark, Waveland, Juanita (Keith) Hoak, Texas, four grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, sister, Maxine Norton, and Brother, Quinton Alexander, both from Ohio.

He was preceded in death by; his parents, his wife, two sisters, one brother, and granddaughter, Jasmine Fox.

There will be a private graveside service for the family.
